Valentine's Nail Art: Loved Up
This week we have two more loved up Valentine's designs using our HEMA Free Gel&Go range and Design Gels. These designs need a steady hand, but practice makes perfect.
Recreate using your client's colours and gel system of choice, but for more detailed work, we do recommend using Art Gels, like our Design Gels.
Keep scrolling to learn how to recreate these two designs.
- Apply a base layer of a light pink. We've used Gel&Go Seashell. Ensure a total cure of 60 seconds before applying a second layer.
- Using a striping nail art brush, draw a line down the centre of the nail using Beach Vacay and do not cure.
- Using the same brush, draw an outline of a heart using Beach Vacay in the centre of the nail with the line in-between and part cure.
- Fill in one side of the heart using Beach Vacay and fill in the outer part of the heart on the other side. Cure fully for 60 seconds.
- Repeat the step above.
- Finish with Gel&Go 2in1, you can apply it slightly thicker to correct any bumps. You can also finish with a small build layer of Base & Build if required
- Apply a base layer of a soft pink. We’ve used Gel&Go Oh La La. Ensure a total cure of 60 seconds before applying a second layer.
- Using Design Gel Blanc, create dots in a square shape and line them up using a striping nail art brush. Do not cure.
- Fill in the box using Design Gel Blanc and ensure a total cure of 60 seconds. Repeat.
- Using Design Gel Onyx, outline the box and draw a ‘v’ shape in the centre to create the envelope shape. Ensure a total cure of 30 seconds.
- Place a heart decal from the Wedding Belles decal sheet and press down with a dotting tool.
- Finish with Gel&Go 2in1, you can apply it slightly thicker to correct any bumps. You can also finish with a small build layer of Base & Build if required.
