Magnetic Nail Art Tutorials: French Three Ways

Opposites Attract Velvet Magnetic French
1.    Apply a base layer of a French pink. We've used Gel&Go Je T’aime. Ensure a total cure of 60 seconds.
2.    Apply Onyx Design Gel to the tip and freeze cure before repeating on all nails. Cure for a total of 60 seconds. 
3.    Apply Opposites Attract Magnetic Gel over to the top of Onyx. Do not cure.
4.    Using the magnet, magnetise Opposites Attract and cure for 30 seconds Pro Colour or 90 seconds using CALGEL.
5.    Finish with Gel&Go 2in1, you can apply it slightly thicker to correct any bumps. You can also finish with a small build layer of Base & Build if required.

Bellatrix Magnetic Reverse French (or Cuticle Cuff) Design
1.    Apply a base layer using a black gel. We've used Onyx Design Gel. Ensure a total cure time of 60 seconds.
2.    Apply Bellatrix Magnetic Gel over to the entire nail, do not cure.
3.    Using the magnet, magnetise the whole surface of the nail.
4.    Then turn your magnet to the side and push the magnet from the tip, stopping just before the end to create a cat-eye cuticle cuff.  Freeze cure if repeating on other nails. Ensure cure time of 30 seconds for Pro Colour or 90 seconds using CALGEL.
5.    Finish with Gel&Go 2in1. Cure for 60 seconds

 

Andromeda French Fade
1.    Apply a base layer using a black gel. We've used Onyx Design Gel. Ensure a total cure time of 60 seconds.
2.    Apply Andromeda Magnetic Gel to the entire nail. Do not cure.
3.    Using the magnet, magnetise the whole surface of the nail.
4.    Then turn your magnet on the side, starting at the cuticle area, ‘push’ the pigments towards the free edge. Stopping just before the end to help create a French tip. Freeze cure if repeating on other nails. Ensure cure time of 30 seconds for Pro Colour or 90 seconds using CALGEL.
5.    Finish with Gel&Go 2in1. Cure for 60 seconds
