Magnetic Nail Art Tutorials: Glass Cat Eye Designs
Our two tutorials will teach you how to create striking nail art designs using our Magnetic Gel in Milky Way. Its ultrafine pigment allows you to create glass like nail designs. It is the perfect magnetic gel to create an optical illusion French manicure (also called double French Ombre) and a chrome magnetic design to create a mesmerising, opal effect.

1. Apply a base layer of Black Gel. We've used Design Gel Onyx, ensure a full cure for 60 seconds.
2. Apply Milky Way to the entire nail and wipe away the gel from the tip section using a clean brush. Do not cure.
3. Using the magnet, magnetise the whole surface of the gel to activate the magnetic pigment in the gel.
4. Then 'push' the magnetic pigment towards the middle. Flash cure to lock the pigments in place.
5. Then apply Milky Way to the tip of the nail and repeat step.3.
6. Repeat step 5, but 'push' the pigments to the opposite side. Flash Cure before repeating on other nails. Ensure the gel has a total cure of 30 seconds for Pro Colour or 90 seconds using CALGEL before applying top coat.
7. Finish with Gel&Go 2in1, you can apply it slightly thicker to correct any bumps. You can also finish with a small build layer of Base & Build if required.
1.Apply a base layer of a French pink. We've used PRO Builder Sweetheart. Ensure a total cure of 30 seconds (90 seconds CALGEL).
2.Apply Milky Way to the entire nail, magnetize and cure for 30 seconds for Pro Colour or 90 seconds with CALGEL.
3.Apply a layer of no wipe top coat. We’ve used Touch&Go – cure for 60 seconds.
4.Using an applicator sponge, buff Pink Unicorn Chrome over the entire nail.
5.Dust away any excess chrome left on the surface of the nail using a fluffy brush.
6.Finish with Gel&Go 2in1, you can apply it slightly thicker to correct any bumps. You can also finish with a small build layer of Base & Build if required.
